Mullinavat Senior Hurling manager Maurice Aylward says the difference in Dicksboro this year is that they are able to win the close games they had been losing previously.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s Senior Quarter-Final clash, Maurice says Dicksboro have proven in the League that they are a serious force to be reckoned with.
“Anybody that wins the League Final and goes through the League undefeated with full points has to be a good team.
“What I see about Dicksboro, reading about them, now I haven’t seen them but reading about them, they seem to be able to see out matches, they are able to win close games, now their were two or three of their games in the League they could have lost them, but they didn’t.
“They saw them games out and came back, even looked like they were beaten and they came back and that’s the sign of a good team so they don’t give up and that’s the sign of a good team,” he said.
