Glenmore came up short yesterday afternoon after a strong Naas side defeated them 1.16 to 1.10.
Naas Manager Tom Mullally had his loyalties tested on the day as his team came up against his hometown.
The Glenmore man was able to put his emotions to one side and concentrate on the game as opposed to the opposition.
“I’m just glad it’s over. It was hugely important that we treated it as a semi final, that we played the game not the opposition.”
“We had to solve problems there today, we had to apply ourselves. Thankfully we solved more problems and it helped us over the 60 minutes to get a result.”
