Kilkenny were held to a draw in the National Hurling League in Nowlan Park yesterday.

The game finished up Kilkenny 1-19, Clare 3-13.

Adrian Mullen picked up a knee injury and was taken off during the game.

Speaking after the game, Brian Cody says there was a lot of mistakes and wides during the game so it could have went either way.

He said “Nobody wanted to lose from that point of view it’s reasonable”.

“We probably picked it up in the second half alright, there was a fair few mistakes on both sides, missed chances on both sides and I suppose at the end of the day, neither team can quibble with the result”.
