The draws have been made for the 2022 Camogie All-Ireland championships across senior, intermediate and junior grades.
Further to that, in a commercial boost for the Camogie Association, a new title sponsor has been announced with Glen Dimplex backing the championship until the conclusion of the 2026 campaign.
Furthering the good camogie announcements for the day, it was also revealed that this year’s All-Ireland senior championship semi-finals will be held at Croke Park.
This year’s All-Ireland series gets underway on the weekend of 21/22 May with a triple-header of All-Ireland finals booked for Croke Park on Sunday 7 August.
Glen Dimplex Senior All-Ireland Championship
12 teams make up the senior championship, split into two groups of six. The top teams in each group go straight to the semi-final stages with second and third in each contesting the quarter-finals. The bottom team in each group will be relegated.
Group 1: Cork, Tipperary, Waterford, Wexford, Dublin, Clare
Group 2: Galway, Kilkenny, Down, Antrim, Offaly, Limerick
Glen Dimplex Intermediate All-Ireland Championship
The intermediate championship follows the same structure as the senior championship.
Group 1: Westmeath, Galway, Carlow, Laois, Dublin, Kerry
Group 2: Kilkenny, Meath, Dublin, Cork, Kildare, Wexford
Glen Dimplex Premier Junior All-Ireland Championship
For the Premier Junior Championship, there are eleven teams split into one group of six and of five.
Group 1: Armagh, Roscommon, Antrim, Limerick, Down
Group 2: Tipperary, Clare, Mayo, Cavan, Waterford
Per the Camogie Association, should a team withdraw from the Premier Junior championship prior to it beginning, a full re-draw can take place.
