“No problem with the future of Kilkenny hurling” says Brian Cody after weekends defeats

Kilkenny Senior Hurling Manager Brian Cody says their no problem with the future of Kilkenny hurling despite the heavy defeats of both the Seniors and Minors in Sunday’s All-Ireland Finals.

Speaking after Sunday’s All-Ireland Final defeat, Brian says their will always be hurlers in Kilkenny.

He said “Look, they are in the All-Ireland Final, that’s where they and that’s where they got to this year”.

“Terrific players there, terrific players to come along as well, their is hurlers in Kilkenny, as long as I remember their have been hurlers in Kilkenny and that will continue as well”.

He added “It’s disappointing obviously, our minors were beaten, our Seniors were beaten but only two teams in the country every year get to the All-Ireland Final”.
