As we close the door on another month, it’s time to open the nominations for the March 2023 round of the David Buggy Motors Kilkenny Sport Star Award.
Our most recent winner (February) was the Clogh Handball Club in Kilkenny, following on from a win for Coláiste Abhainn Rí in Callan (January).
We’ve seen more on the inter-county hurling side, plenty of camogie and soccer action, handball has been busy, the senior football league in Kilkenny has wrapped up, rugby well into club season for local men’s and women’s sides, athletics is buzzing again and there are plenty of other sports on the go. If you know someone – a person or team – who you think should be acknowledged for their achievements or efforts this past month, then we’d love to hear from you. Whether on the field of play or behind the scenes, the awards programme is open to all.
