Offaly Senior Camogie manager Mike Wall says that Saturday’s Leinster Final against Kilkenny is a perfect building block ahead of the start of the All Ireland Championship.
Mike managed Kilkenny to Intermediate All-Ireland success in 2016 and speaking to KCLR, Mike says the Leinster Championship is perfect preparation.
“I think it’s a perfect building block for Championship.
This was perfect preparation for us rather than playing in house games or playing challenge matches.
“To play one of the top teams in the country two weeks before Championship, you couldn’t ask for any better preparation for that, it’s a must win game for us, when I say must win like we are not going out to lose, it’s not a challenge game, it’s not a game of no significance, it’s a must win game so Championship wise.
“The provincials (is something) I would be a big fan of them anyway,” he said.
