Speaking to Scoreline O’Loughlin Gaels intermediate player Ben Leyden wants to lay the marker to help not only his side but the senior team;
“The two panels train together under the senior management. Then the intermediate management tie in with them. We only break away for intermediate matches.”
“Intermediate players are trying to get onto the senior team, which then drives on the senior team the whole time. So training is tough and that is the way we like it.”

O’Loughlins find themselves in fine stead ahead of the Championship with two wins from four, finding themselves third in Group B. They go up against a no doubt annoyed Fenians side, who will be itching to get their first win of the campaign, setting up some momentum for their relegation semi-final.
