O’Loughlin Gaels have been named David Buggy Motors Kilkenny Club of the Year.
The Kilkenny city club ended a seven-year wait for the county title in October when they ended Ballyhale Shamrocks’ hopes of a sixth consecutive championship.
Brian Hogan’s side went on to secure the Leinster championship with wins over Mount Leinster Rangers, Kilcormac-Killoughey and Na Fianna.
While they did overcome Ruairi Og Cushendall in the All-Ireland semi-final, O’Loughlin’s were narrowly defeated in January’s All-Ireland final against St Thomas’.
