There is one change to the Kilkenny team that suffered an opening round defeat to Clare in the Very Ireland Camogie League last weekend as Brian Dowling’s side host Galway on Saturday afternoon at UPMC Nowlan Park (throw-in 3pm, live on KCLR).
Emma Kavanagh is named as the starting goalkeeper ahead of Piltown’s Aoife Norris in the only amendment to the starting line-up that were surprisingly defeated by the Banner County.
The game acts as a repeat of last year’s All-Ireland semi-final that saw Kilkenny come out on top before they claimed the O’Duffy Cup with a famous victory over Cork.
