Paulstown Boxer Aidan O’Neill says he has some improving to do if he is to win the National Heavyweight Final.
Speaking to KCLR as he prepares for Friday nights Final, Aidan says that as a boxer you are never going to be 100% satisfied.
“Look, you are never going to be happy. I often said to people, you would hear lads saying the enjoyed the training and things like that, I think they are mad if they said they enjoyed it because they weren’t doing it working hard enough.
“There is always little bits that you can work on, maybe tighten up the defence and things like that, be quicker on the feet, but look, hopefully we will make those tweaks now just coming into the weekend.
“This weekend I am boxing the Connacht Champion, his name is Anthony Griffin he boxed for Celtic Eagle Boxing Club in Galway, big tall guy, again a good boxer and very strong but again all we can do is go in there and try our best,” he said.
