More than 80% of people in Japan believe the Tokyo Olympics should be canceled or postponed.
The figure comes from a new poll conducted over the last few days by the Japanese news agency Kyodo and the Tokyo Broadcasting System.
Japan is currently dealing with a surge in covid-19 cases, prompting the government to call a state of emergency last week.
The games are due to start on the 23rd of July.
