Palatine Senior Football Captain Jason Kane says that their Strength and Conditioning Coach Louise Keane has been a huge factor in getting the team to their maximum fitness levels.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s County Final against Eire Og, Jason says that Louise and management team have given the players a new lease in life.

“Yeah, Louise has been excellent since she has come in”

“It’s probably the first time we have had a pacific strength and conditioning coach”

“The whole management team in general is excellent, it’s a very professional set-up like and little bit different to what we were used to in the past and they brought their own kind of qualities and stuff”

“Louise has been really good, she has us in good shape in terms of our fitness and our ability to last 60 minutes and yeah you would listen to her and she mightn’t be too big in stature but when she talks, she is well able to raise her voice and she is well able to get her point across, but the whole management team as a whole have been excellent like”

“We have had a really good response to the lads and I suppose we are happy to be where they are at the moment with them”
