Three time All Star and former Cork captain and Manager Larry Tompkins believes that the an inter county season would be good for fans mental well being.
Tompkins was speaking to KCLR Sunday scoreline about his illustrious career and new book “Believe”. During the conversation the topic of an inter county season came up, and All Ireland winner , whose father is from Carlow, believes it will be important for GAA fans that it goes ahead.
”
“I think people need to look forward to something but it would be massive for people to be able to look forward to seeing their county at the weekend. To see it on television I think it would be uplifting. It would be good for the mental aspect of people” He continued, “People don’t realise how much the GAA to people”
