Tullaroan Intermediate Hurling manager Jimmy Coogan says they will have to produce their performance of the year if they are to defeat neighbors Graigue-Ballycallan in Sunday’s Intermediate County Final.

Speaking to KCLR in the build-up to Sunday’s game, Jimmy says that Graigue-Ballycallan have proven themselves to be one of the top teams at Intermediate level.

“Obviously Ballycallan have the likes of James Ryall, Eddie Brennan, Ciaran Hoyne, they all have played for years with both the club and county.

“We are similar, we have the likes of Tommy(Walsh) and Stephen Maher and these lads who have played with the county as well and have given great service to the club.

“Ballycallan are a very very good team, there is no doubt about that, they have been very impressive so far in the Championship and what you have to admire about them is both this year and last year is they have improved as the year has gone on.

“Last year they ended up in the County Final and weren’t far away on the day against Ballyragget so we know we are going to have to produce our best performance of the year next Sunday to win the game, it’s as simple as that,” he said.
