Carlow Under-21 Football manager Peter McConnon says that the Peter McNulty Tournament has helped in getting the best options for tonight’s game against Wexford.
The sides go head to head at 7.30pm (Wednesday) in Netwatch Cullen Park.
Speaking to KCLR, Peter says they have been able to get the full panel together for training…..
“I think that event and that tournament was about getting performances out of guys and I think we did that pretty successfully and teasing out what is going to be your best options come Championship”
“We had four in with the Seniors, and again Turlough (O Brien, Carlow Senior Manager) has facilitated us as best he can in releasing the lads”
“Obviously it’s important for him to have those also, but he has given us every crack of the whip here with this”
