Kilkenny are the National League Champions after defeating Galway in Croke Park last night, 1-18 to 1-15.
The cats had an under-par first-half performance but a goal and five points straight after half-time did the damage to the tribeswomen.
Galway drew themselves level in the first minute of injury time but points from Denise Gaule and Mary O’Connell left them three ahead at the final whistle.
