Former Kilkenny defender John Henderson says players tend to be always the last to know when their time is up.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of the Dublin and Galway match on Sunday, John says that only the Dublin management team know why they wielded the axe on a lot of their experienced players.
“You could be inside the camp with a little bit more knowledge looking out saying well maybe it was time for some of that to happen, so I always kind of feel that the management of a County set-up tend to kind of know more of what is going on and they have a reason why for doing this stuff.
“More the difficulty in Dublin was that some of the people felt it was the manner in the way people were communicated to and stuff that upset some of the players.
“Like we all know, I was a player myself, we all have big egos and your always the last one to know when your time is up.”
