O’Loughlin Gaels manager Aidan Fogarty says that playing with the Inter-County Senior Team has helped Paddy Deegan immensely.
Paddy scored 0-6 from play in O’Loughlin’s comprehensive victory over St. Martins on Sunday in the opening round of League games in Kilkenny.
Speaking to KCLR, Aidan says that Paddy has been performing very well with the County Seniors…..
“Paddy hurls all around the midfield area, half-forwards, half-backs sector etc etc so Paddy did well now, and he is after doing very well with Kilkenny over the last number of games so that is a good experience for him and we are happy with how he is going”
“I think anybody that is in with the Kilkenny Senior Team under Brian Cody and the management team there, that it’s always going to be that they are exposed to a different way of coaching and they are playing with very good Inter-County hurlers all the time”
“So if a fellow is good enough, and aware enough and sensible enough, he is going to be learning from hurling with those people and listening to the management team as well”
