Eire Og Senior Football Manager Joe Murphy says that Carlow Teams like Eire Og and St. Mullins having big matches to look forward to shortens the winter especially with Christmas around the corner.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of tonight’s (Saturday) Leinster Senior Championship Semi-Final clash against Portlaoise, Joe says it’s a great time of the year to be involved in high profile matches.
He said “One thing that you would always hear said was it shortens the Winter when you have these different big matches to look forward to, be it the hurling or football so look it’s a great time of the year, hopefully we will have a good evening weather wise and that so the best horse will jump the fence at that stage so”.
