There is a full 10 race programme at Kilkenny Greyhound Track tonight where the feature race will be the final of The JAG Building Services & Kilkenny Greyhound Owners and Breeders Association A1 Derby.
With a brilliant winners prize of €9,000, it looks a wide open contest with plenty of local interest.
The Pat Carroll owned and Murt Leahy trained, “Ballybough Danny” is a likely favourite from Trap 2. Murt Leahy from Conahy also has “Lemon Nicky” running from Trap 4. Gerry & Miriam Meaney from Bagenalstown have “Hello Hammond” running from Trap 3, the Paul Hennessy trained star is in particularly good form of late. John Leahy from Danesfort has “Its All Over” running from Trap 6, she’s not ideally drawn but has the pace to feature.
Racing also features the final of The Danny & Ellen Norton Memorial A4, where Paul Hennessy’s “Priceless Ruler” will be the likely favourite.
1st race at the St. James’s Park venue gets underway at 7.30pm.
