The Premier League is set to return on June 17th.
Aston Villa will hope to get some much needed points on the board as they take on a team with Champions League aspirations, Sheffield United. Man City face Arsenal after they were the first fixture suspended back on March 11th. Both these games will ensure all clubs have played 29 games in the league.
No word on broadcasting just yet but this is the news that supporters wanted to hear, especially Liverpool fans, as they are just six points off clinching their first Premier League title.
Some clubs may not have their 19/20 squad in full after June 30th.
David Luiz, David Silva and Willian among the players out of contract at their respective clubs, and no word on a renewal .
Richard Masters, the Premier League chief executive, said “Players can extend their contracts beyond June 30 until the end of the season, but it must be agreed by both parties.”
