FIFA have confirmed that the 2022 World Cup final will be played exactly one week before Christmas Day.
The tournament will begin on Monday November 21st of that year at Al Bayt stadium in Al Khor and then go onto feature four group games a day. The 2022 final shill be held at Lusail Stadium in Doha on December 18.
Kick-off times will range between 10am and 7pm Irish time.

Meanwhile in club football the lawmakers have decided to extend the use of five substitutes a game into next season.
IFAB say the move is to protect player welfare. The rule alteration will also encompass next summer’s rearranged European Championships.
