Mt. Leinster Rangers manager Brendan Fennelly says you won’t learn a whole lot from the Senior Round Robin fixtures played in Carlow.
Only 4 teams are competing in the Carlow Senior Championship this year, and speaking to KCLR ahead of their clash against Naomh Eoin Myshall on Saturday evening, Brendan says the current problems at club level in Carlow will have implications for the game at County level.
“It’s a bit difficult, but we will just have to get on with it.
“The problem for Carlow going forward when they move up a division will be thatthe base is very thin and the base is very small, they are depending on the couple of clubs St. Mullins, Naomh Eoin and Mt. Leinster Rangers for the County Team,” he said.
