Kilkenny Inter-League Vice-Captain David Rice says that Neil Andrews is a great captain and an inspirational figure.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sundays Oscar Traynor Final against Carlow, David says that Andrews is like an extra manager.
“Neil is a great captain there, I took over for one game, I was very privileged to do so.
“Neil has International Caps there, he has played for Ireland, there is plenty of experience in him.
“We are all buying into what the Managers say, he is like having another manager on the pitch beside you, he assembles everything together, starts from the back, leads from the back with constant encouragement and it seems to have worked well for us so far,” he said.
