Former Kilkenny College Student Robin Copeland has signed for French second-tier club Soyaux-Angouleme from Connacht on a three-year deal.
Robin having made just 18 appearances during his two year sojourn at the Province which was severely hampered and disrupted by a succession of injuries.
The 32 year-old Wexford Native previously played for Munster, Cardiff Blues, Rotherham, Plymouth and St. Mary’s.
In late March, Robin made an incredible gesture in an effort to help healthcare workers through the COVID-19 crisis when he offered three beds to his house in Galway as part-time Accommodation.
