Rugby Analyst Mick Quinn doesn’t expect Sean O’Brien to last the full 80 minutes in Saturday’s Six Nations opener away to Scotland.
Speaking to KCLR on last nights “The way it is”, Mick says that Josh Van Der Flier will almost certainly replace him during the game and it will in no way weaken the side.
“Van Der Flier will come on during the game. I don’t expect Sean O’Brien to last the full game. I think their will be a place for Van Der Flier at some stage in that game, and it won’t weaken the side but what Sean O’Brien brings you is this ability to really carry the ball, to take it to the opposition and he is just such a brilliant player and I expect he will play very well on Saturday”
