After thirty-three games in the 2023 GAA All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, the destination of the Liam MacCarthy Cup will be decided in Croke Park on Sunday when defending champions Limerick take on Kilkenny.
It’s a repeat of last year’s final which Limerick won by 1-31 to 2-26
Speaking to KCLR, O’Loughlin’s man Huw Lawlor said they want to combine a big performance with the win this time. More on this later.

The GPA says a framework is now in place for a standardized female squad charter to be introduced for 2024.
They’ve confirmed that all protests involving female inter-county players will come to a halt.
It follows what the GPA has called constructive separate meetings with the Camogie Association and LGFA.
Both governing bodies have also agreed to request funding support from the GAA to help implement the charter.

The Republic of Ireland women’s team will step out on a major tournament stage for the very first time this morning.
Vera Pauw’s side takes on co-hosts Australia in Group B’s opening fixture at the World Cup.
Sydney’s Stadium Australia hosts the historic occasion, with more than 75-thousand fans expected to attend.
Ireland captain Katie McCabe says the team is acutely aware of the task facing them today. Kick-off is at 11 am, Irish time.
Eden Park in Auckland has the honor of opening the tournament. New Zealand plays Norway in Group A from 8 o’clock this morning.

Finn Lynch has been named by Irish Sailing as part of a team of seven sailors who will compete in the 2023 Allianz Sailing World Championships, The Hague.
Taking place from 10th – 20th August, the regatta is the first of three opportunities for Ireland to qualify for next years’ Summer Olympic Games.
