Trainer John ‘Shark’ Hanlon plans to run his stable star Hewick in next week’s Ladbrokes Punchestown Gold Cup feature event at Punchestown.
Hewick was a faller when running well in the Cheltenham Gold Cup last month but Hanlon says he is in great form and will love some good ground…
There are seven races on the flat at Tipperary from 4 pm, with Kilbeggan hosting seven races over jumps from 4.15.

Despite conceding two late goals in a 3-3 draw with Benfica last night, Inter won the tie 5-3 to set up a two-legged meeting with AC Milan.
Marcus Rashford is back in the Manchester United squad for tonight’s second leg of their Europa League quarter-final.

Paulstown Grace Fenlon lost out on a close decision. Tony O Reilly lost on a split decision to Liam Ward Ulster champion . Paulstown Ellie Fenlon and Claire Keating both had great victories in the semi-final of their boxing in the Irish final Friday evening.
Urlingford had two Irish champions in Willie and John Delaney. Tollerton Darragh Brennan lost in the final on a split decision and Martin Stokes took gold after a tough final. Marble City had a very tight loss in the quarter-final but they moved on, Sarah Johnson had two great victories to have her raised as Irish champion and Breanna Kelly had her hand raised to take the gold medal in the semi-final. Josh Dowling had a great win boxing in the Irish semi-final Friday night. Junior 1/2 starting next where Marble City has the biggest entry.
