This weekend on KCLR we have five live games on offer
On Sunday we have the junior and intermediate county finals in Kilkenny while bringing you all the action from Clonmores Leinster charge.

On Saturday and opening proceedings for the weekend will be the fundraising game of Kilkenny Camogie versus a team of Kilkenny legends in UPMC Nowlan Park and then we turn our attention to the crunch Leinster clash of Palatine and ST. Patricks of Wicklow
No doubt you will hear more about everything happening in Carlow GAA as Jim Bolger joins Eimear on KCLR later along with John Shark Hanlon who is still no doubt jubilant after the US Grand National win.
Speaking of Carlow there is only one game going ahead tonight and that is the Stryve U20 Football Championship ‘B’ Group 2 game of Naomh Eoin and Ballon GFC
In Kilkenny last night Barrow Rangers claimed the Minor Minor Roinn B Hurling Championship Shield.
They defeated John Lockes on a scoreline of 2-13 to 15 points.
Soccer
Steven Gerrard has been sacked as manager of Aston Villa.

Setting a target of 147 to beat the West Indies, Ireland reached the total with 15 balls to spare, winning by 9 wickets.
Paul Sterling made 66 not out after Gareth Delany had taken 3 wickets earlier on.
BOXING
An incredible seven Irish boxers are looking to upgrade their bronze medals at the European Elite Women’s Championships in Montenegro today.
The first into semi-final action is Westport’s Shannon Sweeney who faces Bulgaria’s Sevda Asenova in the 48-kg division.
There’s a rematch from the Olympics as Belfast featherweight Michaela Walsh takes on Italy’s Irma Testa.
Then it’s the turn of Amy Broadhurst, with Croatia’s Sara Beram her opponent in the light welterweight semi-finals.
In the light-middleweight semis, Tina Desmond faces Italian Melissa Gemini.
The first bout of the evening session sees Caitlin Fryers take on Anakhanim Ismayilovaof Azerbaijan in the light-flyweight semi-finals.
Then Olympic lightweight champion Kellie Harrington faces Kosovo’s Donjeta Sadiku.
And Ireland’s last boxer between the ropes is middleweight Aoife O’Rourke, who goes up against Swede Love Holgersson.
