There is a busy weekend ahead of us on the live game front
Danesfort have their Leinster quarter-final to contest where they take on Trim.
That game throws in at half-one tomorrow.
While at the same time Blacks and Whites travel to Westmeath to play Ringtown in the junior ranks and Kilkenny senior camogie champions Thomastown play St. Vincents in Dublin. So we will have live reports coming in from that game.

Then on Sunday, we will have full coverage on both the Kilkenny and Carlow frequencies as St. Mullins welcome Ferns St. Aidan’s at half one, and Shamrocks can look forward to a tie with Castletown Geoghan in UMPC Nowlan Park
However, while all those games are either quarter or semi-finals, we also have a final to look forward to.
Muckalee are set to travel to Baltinglass for a 1 pm throw-in in the Leinster LGFA Junior Club Championship final.
We will be getting live reports from Muckalee’s own angry young man Mr. Robbie Dowling, as they clash with O’Dwyers of Dublin.

In Kilkenny news, Barry Power has been confirmed as the Young Irelands Intermediate Manager for the 2023 season.
The O’Loughlin Gaels native was an All-Ireland Minor & U-21 winner as a player & has previously managed O’Loughlin Gaels & more recently Clara.

Soccer
Manchester City and Liverpool have been paired together in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
The last 16 draws was made last night, following Manchester United’s 4-2 win over Aston Villa.
United will face Burnley next, while Newcastle will host Bournemouth.
In the other ties, Wolves take on Gillingham, Southampton faces Lincoln City and Brighton goes to Charlton.
MK Dons meet Leicester, while Blackburn welcomes Nottingham Forest to Ewood Park.
Those games will take place the week beginning the 19th of December – straight after players return from the World Cup break.

The final place in next season’s SSE Airtricity League Premier Division is up for grabs this evening.
UCD take on Waterford as the students look to hang onto their spot in the top tier.
Kick-off in their promotion/relegation play-off at Richmond Park is at a-quarter-to-8. the two teams will be well acquainted with each other after last year’s battle at the same stage.

It finished 28 points to 14 in favour of the hosts, with Munster running in four tries.
GOLF
Padraig Harrington enjoyed an encouraging start at the Charles Schwab Cup Championship on the Champions Tour last night.
He’s one shot off the lead on five-under-par in Arizona, after an opening round of 66.
The Dubliner still has a chance to win the Charles Schwab Cup, which is the Order of Merit title.
But Steven Alker – who leads the overall standings – has a share of the lead on six-under.
Harrington must win this week’s tournament to have any chance of reaching the top of the rankings.
