On the inter-county front, Carlow are off to Stradbally tonight in the hope of picking up their first pre-season win with the final round of this year’s Leinster GAA O’Byrne Cup.

Laois provide the opposition and having missed out on a win last week against Meath, they’ll be hoping to make home advantage count against Niall Carew’s side who fell to a 15-to-4 point defeat against Longford at the weekend.
