Joining senior champions O’Loughlins Gaels as provincial winners are Thomastown, who convincingly secured a win against Bray Emmetts in Aughrim.
Goals from Thomas Hanrahan and Luke Connellan secured a commanding 2-22 to 1-09 triumph over Bray Emmetts.
The Thomastown victory was marked by notable performances from Man of the Match Robbie Donelley, who was quick to take the praise off himself and credit the whole panel.
In the junior category, Tullogher Rosbercon claimed the provincial crown with a convincing 2-14 to 8-point victory over Carrig and Riverstown.
Walter Walsh and Marty Murphy played crucial roles in finding the back of the net during the match.
As a result of their Leinster successes, O’Loughlins, Thomastown, and Tullogher Rosbercon have earned their spots in the All-Ireland semi-finals scheduled for the upcoming Sunday.

While in other rugby news, the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup final will take place at Twickenham, with the opening match taking place at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light.
The eight stadiums that will be used for the tournament were confirmed in August, and World Rugby and Rugby Football Union made the announcement on Monday morning.
According to World Rugby Chairman Sir Bill Beaumont, “Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025 will be a generational moment for rugby.”
Soccer
In FA Junior Cup action featuring teams from Kilkenny and Carlow, Bridge United faced a tough defeat, losing 6-0 to New Oak.

Carlow’s Adam Dee made his county proud by qualifying for the W-D-F Youth World Championships final.
Dee, who happens to be a cousin of soccer star Padraig Amond, clinched a victory over the World number one Hungarian, Andras Borely, on Saturday night.
In the final, Adam lost out to Dutch player Bradley van der Velden.
Swimming/Athletics
In swimming news, Kilkenny’s Maria Godden achieved a new personal best in the 400-meter freestyle heats at the European Championships in Romania.
Her impressive performance earned her a 14th place finish overall.
Meanwhile, Hannah Kehoe, representing Carlow, contributed to the Irish team’s fifth-place finish at the Under 20 European Cross Country Championships held yesterday in Brussels.
