Mick Quinn says that Sean O’Brien definetly needs competitive action before the start of the Six Nations.
The Tullow Tank is currently ruled out due to injury, and Speaking to KCLR on last nights “The way it is”, Mick says that Sean is running out of time to get games ahead of the start of the tournament.
“Sean hasn’t had a lot of luck injury wise. He is sort of running out of time a little bit”
“I think he is still the go to man for Joe Schmidt and rightly so because when he gets to the really big games, the important games, he can always rely on Sean O’Brien to perform for you so I don’t necessarily see Joe Schmidt going without him if he is available but he needs to get some game under his belt between now and the Six Nations start”
