Tickets can be bought at Paulies Bootcamp (Carlow Town Hurling Club) or Paul direct on 086 804 1820.
Well known fitness trainer in Carlow, Paul Ward and rugby star Sean O Brien have teamed up for a special cooking demonstration fundraiser this Friday November 22nd at 8pm.
The “Naked Chefs” will cook up some dishes in Carlow Town Hurling Club on the night and have a bit of craic doing it as well.
Both men are no strangers to cooking and will do up some recipes that everyone can follow.
Tickets for the event cost €15 and money raised goes to the families of little girls Evie Delaney and Amira Rauf who both have had tough starts to life.
Evie was born with a very rare, very large cystic hygroma on the left side of her face. This compromised her airway, resulting in a tracheostomy being placed at birth, which Evie breathes through. She spent her first six months in hospital, where both her parents, Ciaran Delaney and Kate Nolan, spent two months becoming fully trained in all the care that Evie needs. Evie is now home in Graiguecullen but needs 24-hour care.
Amira O’Toole Rauf was involved in an horrific road traffic accident on 6 November 2018 with her mother Caroline, in which she suffered life-changing injuries. Because of the damage done to her tiny little body, she’s had numerous heart attacks, resulting in her being fitted with a pacemaker. Amira is paralysed from her T2 and she is currently breathing with the aid of a tracheotomy. Amira has been in hospital since the car crash
Recently, Paul Ward and members of Paulies Bootcamp did a fundraiser for the girls, an 80-kilometre cycle to Dublin, the 42-kilometre Dublin City Marathon and another 80 kilometre cycle home.
