Sinéad Commons is the new manager for the Carlow ladies minor football team.
Having won seven Connaught titles as a player with Mayo and having previously guided the Offaly ladies team, Commons will take charge alongside John Woods and Johny Maguire as selectors/coaches, with Stacey Owens appointed female liaison officer (FLO).
Per Ed Burke, Commons will also have a coaching role with the ladies junior setup.
Burke was appointed manager of the county junior team for the 2022 season having most recentlly worked with the Waterford mens senior team this season and the Tipperary senior ladies (2019 and 2020).
Carlow bowed out of the 2021 TGF All-Ireland Ladies Championship in August with a semi-final defeat at the hands of Antrim.
