St Josephs Rosbercon athlete Sophie Becker she’s delighted to be named on Team Ireland for the upcoming European Team Athletic Championships.
She joins Molly Scott and Marcus Lawler and will compete in the 4 x 400m relay team at the competition in Norway from August 9th to 11th.
Sophie says it’s a big deal for her.
“It is indeed, i’ve never got onto the European Team Championships before so I’m really excited, its nice to do something different from the individual competitions”.
She said “It’s nice to do something as part of a team and compete as part of a team so i’m really looking forward to it”.
