St. Patricks Ballyragget Hurling manager Jim Lyng says that GAA administrators should look very closely at how the club scene is run.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Saturday evening’s clash against Clara, Jim says they are still remaining fully focused despite the lengthy lay-off.
“I don’t think it’s (structure) sustainable in the long run and that’s a discussion for another time, but from our point of view, we are totally focused.
“I’m sure all the clubs would compliment their players on being available at the weekend and probably all in very good physical condition and ready to go.
“Players will always want to play no matter what the conditions and no matter what’s put before them, but I think maybe as administrators they should look at what’s best for the game in general and maybe have a little bit more regard for club players,” he said.
