Kilkenny’s Susan Fitzpatrick and the Sharon Fitzpatrick-owned Fellow Castlefield claimed Sunday’s two-star international Grand Prix at Millstreet Horse Show in Co Cork.
Twelve horses and riders made it into the jump-off, with Fitzpatrick drawn last to go against the clock and chasing a target of clear in 51.56 seconds set by Michael Pender with Casanova Van Overis Z.
Fitzpatrick judged her round to perfection and crossed the line clear in 51.13 to take the winners prize of €8,250.
Pender collected €5,000 for his runner-up finish while Daniel Coyle finished third with Farrel.
Fourth place went to Cian Harrison with Tabby ahead of Greg Broderick in fifth with Dabelle and Aidan Killeen in sixth with Idream.
