Have we introduced you yet to our latest podcast, The Knock On?

Fresh from our Carlow studios, KCLR’s Stephen Byrne takes the chair for The Knock On rugby podcast where in this edition he’s joined by former Munster and Ireland player Mick Galwey, former Leinster captain Chris Pimm and also former Munster and Irish international Ian Dowling.

The PRO 14 is back this weekend and the Heineken Champions Cup and Challenge cup unveiled their fixtures for the adjusted competition this year, making a busy time for rugby.

This weekend though it’s all about the Six Nations as Ireland head for Rome to have a crack at the Italians and look for their first win of the competition after losing to both Wales and France so far.

France’s game against Scotland this weekend has been cancelled due to a number of Coronavirus cases in the French camp amongst staff and players.

Selection debates continue to roll on regarding Ireland and the different player’s Andy Farrell is using in each, the biggest talking point being that of Johnny Sexton and his successor, Johnny adding fuel to that fire this week by saying he might not make it to the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

These issues and more all feature on The Knock On, episode 2, now streaming on Spotify, in the KCLR app and above through Scoreline.ie with fresh episodes available weekly.
