Kilkenny manager Brian Cody has made three changes to the team who defeated Dublin in the Leinster SHC final last month for Sunday’s All-Ireland semi-final against Cork.
St. Lachtains clubman James Maher comes in for Darragh Corcoran at right half-back while Young Irelands’ Michael Carey starts for the first time in this year’s championship at the expense of Conor Browne on the opposite wing.
The only other personnel change to the Kilkenny side that retained their provincial crown three weeks ago sees Erin’s Own stalwart Conor Fogarty start at midfield with Martin Keoghan dropping to the substitutes bench.
Captain Adrian Mullen moves to right-half forward while John Donnelly will start at centre-forward.
