TJ Reid shows Roy Keane, Gary Neville, and Jamie Carragher a thing or two in Croke Park

From TJ Reid Twitter

It was a welcome sign last week when TJ Reid was in full Kilkenny gear strutting his stuff on the turf at Croke Park.

Yes, with the news that TJ should return for the league final against Wexford, he has been getting some practice in beforehand. He could possibly do with a bit more of a challenge though, considering he was up against Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville, although Roy Keane looked handy with the ball to stick.

Gary Neville was on an Irish tour with his podcast “The Overlap” and brought Keano and Carra along with him. Paul McGrath was a special guest in what looked like a terrific night in Dublin.

Considering Roy’s comfortability and history, you could imagine him the red of cork as opposed to Manchester quite easily. Irish soccer stars and GAA tend to have a bit of history with Kevin Moran winning two All-Ireland titles with Dublin in 1976 and 1977 before signing with Manchester United. Of course, now Waterford hitman Dessie Hutchinson played with Brighton also.
