It just wasn’t to be for Kilkenny against what was a superior Tipperary side on the day yesterday.
After the game Kilkenny Midfielder Conor Fogarty spoke to KCLR and was honest in his assessment of the tie.
“On the day we probably didn’t take our chances where as they took every chance they got. To be fair we probably didn’t do our full back line any favours, the quality of ball they were getting in was very good.”
“It’s a tough one to take but we will just have to get up and get on with it again. We’ve gave it everything, we have nothing to be sorry for.”
“We just have to bottle this feeling and hopefully use it next year.”
