The opening juvenile maiden at Dundalk on Wednesday night turned into a battle of the O’Brien’s, with the spoils going back to Owning Hill as True Blue Moon, trained by Joseph, just got the better of his father Aidan’s newcomer Dali.
Joseph’s brother Donnacha steered the winner as the son of Holy Roman Emperor overcame his greenness to score in the end by a snug half-a-length.
