Tullow Rugby Club Head Coach Maurice Logue says that Sean O’Brien’s International future is in even greater doubt now after he was ruled out of the World Cup.
Speaking to KCLR, Maurice says that Sean’s move to London Irish from Leinster for the new season will make it more unlikely that he will line out for Ireland again.
He said “I can only imagine it’s a huge disappointment for him. It would have been obviously a personal goal to get to a World Cup especially with moving on this year from Leinster to London Irish, and obviously there is a certain amount of uncertainty about whether he would get capped further because of the foreign player rule so yeah, I mean look it must be a huge disappointment”
