Shane Flavin from the Paulstown Club and Kevin Kehoe from the Marble City Club in Kilkenny are currently in Anapa in Russia as they are continuing preparations ahead of the Youth Multi-Nations Tournament which commences on Saturday.
Both fighters are part of the Irish squad and they will be hoping to qualify for the World Youth Championships in St. Petersberg later in the year.
Team Ireland’s eight-strong squad are training with the host nation, Azerbaijan, Australia and Cuba.
Known as the “mini World Championships, the Nikolay Pavlyukov tournament attracts all of the top boxing nations.
