St. Kierans College selector Liam Smith says the two-week break since their Leinster Final victory will be an advantage as they prepare for Saturday’s All-Ireland Colleges Semi-Final clash against Our Lady of Templemore.
Speaking to KCLR, Liam says they have been concentrating on trying to cut down on the amount of frees conceded…..
“Yeah absolutely, our free count, we gave away too many frees against the CBS which kept them in the game, we looked at that, we did a lot of tackling now this week.”
“Plus it gave Pat Hoban and the minors a chance to get them together as well, they had a training session on Sunday.”
“Yeah the two weeks between games is great, and it means that the boys this week can recover and look forward to an All Ireland Semi Final.”
