Take a bow Danny Moran.

Sunday at Netwatch Cullen Park featured a double-header of senior club football action with Tinryland and Éire Óg out first. With the game level at 1-08 to 0-11, and the clock tipping into the fourth minute of stoppage time, Tinryland were still pushing for a win.

With Éire Óg defending in numbers, Danny Moran picked up a pass out around the 45′ and let fly.

It’s 4 minutes into injury time.

The game is level.

Eire Og have numbers back.

“The legend Danny Moran, no better man” said Tinryland’s Shane Redmond after the game in speaking on the match-winning point.

“At that stage of the match, to have the confidence to take it on. He really put the boot through that and it sailed over the black spot. It was a great way to win a game.”

They’ll have this coming weekend off with the championship hitting a break before taking on Bagenalstown Gaels in a crunch game where a positive result leaves them top of the group and straight through to this year’s semi-finals.

You can listen back to the game in full below and hear the reaction of our commentary team from the 1h 11m mark.
