Waterford Senior Football manager Tom McGlinchey says that Carlow are playing with real confidence this year so far.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Saturday’s National League clash, Tom says that the players have bought into the system they are playing.
“Winning breeds confidence and definitely Carlow are playing with confidence at the moment and you can see that in their approach.
“Turlough has been their now for a few years and a very astute manager and he has brought in a good coach with him there in Steven Poacher and the players have obviously bought into the system that they are playing.
“They are very organized, they put up a consistent score, they put up a score around 2-10 or 2-12 in their games to date, and if you are scoring 0-18 in a game, you are going to win a lot of games, and obviously the players have really bought into the ethos and it has proved dividends for them and they are on top of the league,” he said.
