The Barrowsiders got their first points on the board when they played host to Down in the last round, giving them hope of a semi-final berth. More games seem to be the main priority though for manager Tom Mullally with the Joe McDonagh Cup looming;
“We are happy, we are 34/35 on the panel, and everyone contributes, bringing their part to it. That will be tested in the game ahead.”
“The priority is the develop the panel, push the panel. The second and third are still involved, so we have still something to play for at the minute.”
“Either way, they are competitive games, and we need that competitive element, to sharpen up going towards the Joe Mac down the year”
